This last weekend, a few friends and I took off to Puncak, which is a hill station retreat about 200KM from Jakarta, to celebrate our buddy Ashwyn’s birthday. The weather up there is a lot cooler and the air is fresh. They rented a small cottage in a hotel that I will tell you all about later. Needless to say, we had a fucking great time hanging out and talking story. Yesterday before heading back to Jakarta we stopped at the infamous Rindu Alam II for lunch. There are 2 Rindu Alam’s in Puncak. One is before the summit and the other is after. These restaurants have been in operation for more than the 13 years I have been in and out of Indonesia. How much longer exactly I do not know. The specialty there is local Indonesian sea food.
