Graffiti Brushes by Indo Dreamin
I wish I could say that the artwork behind these brushes is all mine, but the the credit goes to the artists featured on Art of the State. And I dont say this often, but I will say it now that this set of 24 brushes is off the chain!!! It took me a couple of hours to clean up that shit and create the brushes but it is well worth it cause I can have some fun with these puppies. I was sick and tired of being so fucking uninspired so I was trying to learn how to make stencils, then I just started making these brushes. I was hoping to be able to make my own stencils from photographs and make brushes from that but its going to take a lot more work to get there. For the time being I am just going to have to settle with ripping the real artists off. But I have been seeing how kids on Deviant Art use the brushes just as details in larger pieces of digital art and its awesome. And none of this is for profit mongers so who gives a shit about copyrights? But then again there are assholes out there like Lars Ulrich. But i got no assets anyways so if you got issues with these brushes, sue me. Also check out Banksy, he is awesome. I grabbed some images from him too. The rest of yall, eeennjwwaaaayy... Rasta Brushes by Indo Dreamin'
This is not my greatest effort but I needed some Bob Marley Brushes right away for something I was working on so I threw these together. I have added in a couple of other African images and a couple of Rastafari himself. There are only 12 brushes in this set but I hope to add on a bunch more by this weekend. For now you can download the Rasta Brushes here. I cant believe I never thought of doing a set like this before. I wish I had more time to put into this right now and make them all original brushes, but I am running against the clock these days. Hopefully things will let up soon. I figured out something cool on Photo Shop that allowed me to do that thing I have done with the Bob Marley image on the picture below. Its actually pretty cool i think. I just gotta work it out with better colors and images. Oh, and there are 2 Ganja Brushes. Only 12 brushes in all, more to come. Aloha.

Dragon Brushes by Indo Dreamin
I think this was the last set of Photo Shop Brushes that I made, but for some reason they have not been downloaded at all. So I am wondering if the link to them is totally bunk. The other brushes get downloaded daily but the poor Dragon Brushes are still on zero! I am feeling pretty sad for them cause they are just as good as all the other brushes. The most popular brush set appears to be the Native American Brushes. Now while they are pretty awesome I still do not get why 103 people would have downloaded them and no one the Dragon Brushes. It makes no sense. So I am re-introducing the Dragon Brushes to the game. And I got to add that some of the people who have used these brushes have sent me links on my Deviant Art account to where they were used, and there are some really talented people out there. Digital art that would blow your mind! I really should post some of that work up here some day. One of the people even said they were using some of the Tattoo Brushes for work on the Official Alice Cooper Website!! It was like so small you would not even notice it was there, just a tiny detail a massive piece, but still awesome.

Dragon Brushes – PS Brushes
I got some mails from people recently who have been trying to download some of the PS brushes I have made but were not able to. It turns out the fuckers at Hot Files Link took down my files without informing. It is a free service so I guess I cant really complain but this mean I am gonna have to upload those files all over again and relink them to all the posts and links on my website. I have not made any brushes for a while but I had been looking through my collection of Dragon tattoos recently and felt inspired to make a set of Dragon Brushes. So here is a set of 30 brushes in high resolution, built with Photoshop CS3. Click here to download the brushes. I had actually downloaded a few sets of dragon brushes when I was designing some stuff for Chinese New Year earlier this year. But none of them were as good as this, but I am sure there are still some better ones out there. Enjoy…

Through the Skin - PhotoShop Brushes

This is a pretty small set of only 10 brushes but they are pretty high quality. Also they are fun to use because of the 3D aspect. Click here for the full gallery or click the picture to download this set of brushes.

Tattoo Borders - PhotoShop Brushes

The Tattoo Borders Brushes were especially fuin to make because I love tattoos. There are about 20 brush sets here that can be used either vertically or horizontaly. Some are large with snake motifs, others tribal, and also floral. So these brushes can be used for a whole variety of projects. They have been adapted from very large and clear pictures so they will insure a crisp finish. Enjoy.
Native American - PhotoShop Brushes

The Native American Brushes are an awesome set with really fine detailed brushes. This complete set includes loads of feathers that can add simple detail to a project and large dream catchers and animal prints to really make the canvass pop. This was a fun set to make and use.

Ghanaian Adinkra – Photoshop Brushes
I know I said I was going to lay off the brushes for a while but I could not help it. I was looking for some Adinkra sybols for some work related shit and I came across Well Tempered. Jean has actually taken the time to digitalize a whole load of Ghanaian Adinkra symbols, in really good quality too. So with his permission I used the symbols to create a set of 59 brushes. For those of you not aware of what Adinkra is, check out Jeans site. Each of these symbols has a significant meaning. I have not made brushes from all of the ones available but I have used most of them. In addition I have also created a variety of borders and patterns that can be used to create some pretty nifty posters, if I do say so myself. By using the right color combinations and patterns you can even make something that looks like a traditional Kente cloth. As far as I know this is the first and only set of Ghanaian Photoshop brushes available online. I have already made use of these commercially and I am hoping they prove to be useful for many more people out there. I know if some of the designers in Ghana could get a hold of these brushes their lives would be a lot easier. Downloading and using custom brushes is so easy, once you give it a shot you will see a whole new platform is available to you. Click here to download the Ghanaian Adinkra Brushes for Photoshop or click on the picture below. Once again, I would love to see how these brushes are used. You can also create your own borders and patterns creating the sybols. Its loads of fun.

Indian Vibes – Photo Shop Brushes
Making Photoshop brushes is my latest kick, and being as obsessive as I am, I spent last night designing a set of 28 brushes entitled Indian Vibes. The Indian Vibes collection of Photoshop brushes a variety of Indian style decorative designs, some minimalist Ganesha clips, and a decent range of borders and corner clips. I am particularly proud of this set because they required more work and creativity on my part. The basic images I started with were obtained from the net and from some stuff I scanned. Then to make the borders I had to resize, crop, and adjust the images, which was pretty tedious work. I could have kept working on this collection of brushes but I am always too eager to start using them and upload them. This set is ideal for designing wedding invitations of prettying up flyers for Indian themed events. So I don't know how long this bug will last for me but I am going to try and stay of Photoshop for a while. Hopefully I can get back to it next week with better ideas and even more detailed and unique brushes. Click here to download the Indian Vibe Photoshop Brushes and if you do use them please share your work and link back to Indo Dreamin.

Photo Shop Brushes – Legends Series 1
I put up my first attempt at custom brushes up for Photoshop last week. The Pop Brushes were really just me figuring out how to make brushes so I did not have a solid theme or idea I was running with. This is my second attempt and I chose to go with rock legends. This collection of Photoshop brushes includes images of Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Sid Vicious, Aliester Crowley, Elvis, Bob Marley, plus some decorative stuff that can be used for back grounds like band logos, vinyl records, and the Led Zeppelin signs. This set was really fun for me to make because these are icons I love and brushes I can use when I am playing. I even managed to set up an account on Deviant Art where I am sharing the brushes with other users. A few people have downloaded them and some have even written back about how much they like the Legends 1 set of brushes. Props are always good. I am curious to see how people use them. I have some cool ideas to make some more brushes for borders and back grounds. Also I want to make some typically Chinese sets using pictures I have taken myself. Click here or on the picture below to download Legends 1 Photoshop Brushes.

Pop Brushes – Out of Asia
I am not sure how many of you have been following my recent discovery and examination of custom brushes for Photo Shop. I have always enjoyed tinkering with software, be it Corel, Photo Shop, Macromedia Flash, or Net Objects Fusion. With loads of time on my hands after work and on the weekends I had been looking for something to while away my time with and once I discovered the treasure trove of custom brushes on Brusheezy, I have had a blast playing with them and creating digital collages. I will admit that this addictive pastime has even eaten into my working hours. It would be all good if I was a graphic designer or even a promoter of sorts where I could make use of these designs commercially. But I cant, and that has not stopped me from blowing my time messing around with custom brushes. So much so that I have now even figured out how to make my own brushes and I just completed my first set of 16 brushes. They are not really a proper set because I have not stuck with a general theme, I was mostly just messing with pictures I already have on file. So I have aptly named this set Pop Brushes – Out of Asia. There are a few brushes of Guangzhou cityscapes, a couple from GWK in Bali, and just some other random pop culture shit, and of course a signature. If you are into design and using Photo Shop, these brushes are really easy to incorporate. Here is a detailed walkthrough. This is only my first set, just getting the hang of making brushes. I hope to upload more of these in the near future so if you do use these let me know what you think. If there is any advice you can offer I am all ears as well.
