I have never been to Korea, but I know that this is not sushi nor sake you are drinking but rather SOJU (now popular around the world). In case your readers were wondering let me tell them since you can't that Soju is a traditional korean liquor distilled from rice, barley and sweet potato. Soju has a light, crisp and clean taste similar to vodka. There are several types of Soju each with a distinct flavour, the one you are drinking is Jinro Chamisol and although triple distilled through bamboo charcoal process is probably the cheapest you will find.

sake is the japanese stuff, they call this somthing different.
