Ant Hill

The weekend was pretty light. We checked out a new club here in Jakarta called “The Bedroom” that had its grand openeing last Friday. It is this concept that has been floating around for a few years now where there are beds all around the club for people to chill on. However in this club there were not really beds but more like large flat things with futons and cushions on them. The place was cool though and the atmosphere comfy yet energetic. The Bedroom is in Kemang, across the street from the big KFC.

Have you ever seen an ant hill? Actually I think it is a termite hill. They got these bastards all over Ghana. And some of the sons of bitches are just huge.

This one here is as tall as the tree!!! I only just realized how I have never seen these ant hills outside Ghana. They were all over the place when I was growing up. It would suck when we were playing football in school and the ball would land up near the mound. Some sorry fool would have risk being attacked by the inhabitants of the big red hill in order to retrieve it.

I have a feeling that this is going to be one hell of a long week. I only just now seem to be slipping back into the routine here. I hate that feeling. Normality. It is just so fucking boring.
