Pin-Up Girls

For centuries and even decades beautiful women have inspired men to paint, build, explore, excavate, create, destroy, and even kill. Centerfold girls and supermodels have made a living off of our need to be inspired since the early 1900’s, if not earlier. What criteria and distinctive features defined a good model? What made a model attractive was unique to the era she lived in. It was all relative yaar.

In the 1940’s pinups became very popular with the soldiers going off to war. They carried pictures in their pockets and posted them on their walls. They also painted images of these starlets on their planes. The GI’s #1 pinup girl at that time was Betty Grable. Compared to what we are used to seeing today she might be considered a bit overweight. The pictures are also a bit conservative in comparison to present ones and her body lines also seem to lack ‘curves’. But this is what they loved.

In the 1940’s and into the early 50’s, many magazines and posters were adorned with images of Norma Jeane Baker, also knows as, Marilyn Monroe. We are all, or at least should be, extremely familiar with her. She harbored all traits that men and women defined as beautiful. She was voluptuous yet gorgeous. As far as I know she is also the first one who actually made a mole on the face a beauty spot. She went as far as to captivate the attention of the then President of the USA, JFK himself. Blonde voluptuous chicks were IN. And I am still in love with this one.

By the mid 50’s another new face showed up on the block. It was that of Bettie Page. This lady was a true tiger. She exhibited broader shoulders, jet black hair, and some very gothic pictorials. Her hips and thighs were also what I would call, for lack of a better adjective, thick. Her predecessors were very timid and cute whereas Betty had a lot of bite to her. There are numerous images of her in bondage poses as well which must have raised some eyebrows in time where people were not yet even exposed to full frontal nudity in magazines. She was also the most photographed woman of her time.

Modeling in the late 60s is synonymous with one name that says it all, Twiggy. The general image of what is considered model material took a drastic turn. Twiggy was long, thin, and small breasted. Women of that era also mimicked her look, such as the very popular Goldie Hawn among others. She posed for the likes of Elle magazine and strutted down runways between New York and Japan. During that era the world did see many political changes in the West, and this was just one of them. From her clothing to her hairstyle, Twiggy set the new trends for a generation that changed the world.

A solid example of the attractive body type in the 70’s would be that of Liv Lindeland. Her blonde white hair may hint a return to the era of Marilyn but it is kept straight, very much with the style of the early 70’s. Like Twiggy she was also very skinny and tall. The natural breast shape is back in order and in this picture; Liv is one of the first woman to pose exposing her pubic hair. Yes, if you look close enough you can see it. The photographs also seem to exude more natural lights, colors, and textures.

By the 80’s we saw some very prominent changes. This decade could belong to Cindy Crawford. I am sure most of us can remember how she took the fashion world by storm. Some say her most prominent feature was the mole above her lip, like Marilyn. The early years of this decade also showcased Farah Fawcett, who was probably posted up on every heterosexual teenage boy’s bedroom wall. The trend at the time seemed to be this feathered hair do and as for body shape, some curves do show and the girls are not all that skinny. The fashion at the time seems to bring up scary memories for those who lived through them. We saw some abnormally bright colors and some very frightening perms.

From the early 90’s till now we have been bombarded with magazine covers exposing the likes of Jenny McCarthy to Carmen Electra and Brittney Spears to Monica Lewinski (no pictures or links for the last 2 please). The stereotypes have changed. Money seems to get people on covers of magazines more than looks do. Lets face it, nobody would be talking about their big butts if “famous” Beyonce didn’t sing about hers being Bootylicious. There is so much damn photo shopping going on that we don’t even know if what we are looking at is real. And let’s not even get into cosmetic surgery. Our tastes vary so much now that beauty can not even be stereotyped, which is a good thing. Some magazines feature models that are tall, slim, where as others showcase, voluptuous women. Some men openly prefer older women while others not so openly chase after the barley legal, younger blood. Whatever the taste, there is a product to feed it.

But if we look at the leading mainstream magazines today, we all know the 3 features that are most important are height, face, and weight. There is an interesting illustration here where an artists has merged pictures from each decade, 60’s 70’s and 80’s to create 3 single images and you can get a rough idea about what the actual changes were. I wonder what this decade will produce.

One study shows that, “Given the perception of Playboy centerfolds as culturally 'ideal' women, the notion that 70% of them are underweight highlights the social pressures on women to be thin and helps to explain the high levels of body dissatisfaction and disordered eating among women.” So based on that we can assume that most women are striving to be like the “ideal” woman? To hell with that!!! Women really need to stop trying to be like the women who have defined beauty in their times. They should be defining beauty in their own time. Women are going nuts trying to look like supermodels and young girls are even killing themselves because they don’t meet up to standards.

Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder so fuck the standards. In the immortal words of Freddie Mercury and Queen, “FAT BOTTOM GIRLS, YOU MAKE THE ROCKIN WORLD GO ROUND”.

Brother Mogs, you know we are all thinking of you right now.

Porningations

People all over the world enjoy porn. They enjoy porn magazines, websites, and movies. I have personally seen Japanese porn, German porn, Brazilian porn, British porn, and mostly American porn. I know that is a shit load of porn but I went through some lonely times back in the mid 90’s. Plus my room mate (no names but you know who you are) had a pretty extensive stash. But having lived in 2 of the most populous countries of the world, India and Indonesia (apart from other countries), I have never really seen any local pornographic pictures or movies. Yes there are some steamy pictures and scenes in films but no XXX rated stuff.

How did these poor brothers and sisters get their rocks of without access to good quality pornographic films? They seem to be doing fine in the baby factory department but it can’t all be missionary. Apart from just being entertaining I found these films to be pretty educational at a time when my parents were too prude explain the ‘ins and outs’ of sex to me. In such conservative countries/societies these films should be mandatory. There must be some underground movement of porno films in India at least. Those people know how to make money and this is a gold mine. I think it would be safe to assume that porn is one of the most profitable web based businesses today. In Indonesia there is the occasional hidden camera voyeur VCD in the black market but nothing main stream.

I recently came across a website (that I forgot to bookmark so I can’t share the link) that had a collection of old Indian movie posters. I guess this is good old Indian porn. And it is fucking hilarious. My Hindi is not so good so please feel free to opine. If any of you have seen any of these films or can get hold of some for me, please let me know. Until then I will just use my imagination. About the movies content for gods sake!

Stree Purush – A Sex Educational Film

The picture is a classic scene of a Suhag Raat, the first night a couple spends together after marriage. If I had little or no exposure to sex I would opt to buy this film as sexual education. But for kicks, I doubt I would venture there. Although there is an A rating on the left hand side of the poster, I don’t think there would be any hard core footage. But I am curious.

Purana Purush

I don’t know what ‘purush’ means but it seems to be something steamy, like fling or affair. I like the way the A rating has been incorporated into the design of the poster. As for the Tarzan looking dude, I doubt any of us would want to see him in action. This must be some sort of woman lost in the jungle theme. Maybe she captured by the savages and Tarzan man saves her in exchange for sexual favors.

???

I have no idea what this says but the black bathroom slippers don’t do it for me. However this is probably the only movie poster that looks like the film might actually has some x rated footage. As for the girl, she’s not really my type. And what is with the back ground? It like they stuck the pictures of the girl to common lined paper and sent it to the press.

Lady Killer

The title is self explanatory, sexy murder mystery. But somehow I don’t think the chick on the poster is gonna get killed. She is the probably the one who takes out the killer. She looks pissed off with that finger pointed out like that. Hell, I would not wanna mess with her. She looks scarier than the guy with the chainsaw even. I am rooting for him. That’s a pretty revealing leg shot though.

Ladki – Girl

If this director was trying to target the barely legal market with the title ‘girl’, he should have put some younger chicks on the poster. I will not be mean and diss the models he chose but why did he choose a picture of a woman in that striped pink towel yaar? And she looks like she is dancing too. Why is she dancing in her towel? As for the back ground bull’s eye print, I live it. So retro 70’s.

Doraha – And There Were 2.

I think I might be very wrong about the translation of the title here. But I love this poster. First off the way the artist incorporates the A rating again. And secondly the picture of the dude in the A. He got that slick slim moustache and the cigarette hanging out the side of his mouth. Kya hero hai re!!! As for the guy on the bed, he just looks scared. Maybe he is shocked she pulled away the yellow covers. Who the hell got yellow covers? But she is kinda hot.

Miss. Pamela

I had to include this one because this might be the first famous Indian porn star I saw. The poster introduces her as “Silk Smita”. This could be our equivalent of Jenna Jameson. The name has such a nice ring to it. Silk Smita… Hmmm. I’m thinking website.

Test Tube Baby

I can not even venture to think what this movie is about. The title just scares the hell out of me.

Badan – Body

Could this movie be targeted at females? The guy seems to be the one on show in the poster. And we all know that aint no Indian dude. He has NO hair on his body. That is impossible. I do have to give it up for the artist though. I like the way the guy is sleeping on the title of the film and there are all these little hearts all over the place.

Miss. 420

I like this one the best. I know in India 420 means to double cross or scoundrel but in my head it still means time to blaze a J. I don’t know man, every time I look at this I just crack up.

Honestly though, there must be some underground Indian porn ring. There is too much money in that market for no one to be tapping it. My mate just moved back to India and I must advise him to venture forth into this field. India needs a Hugh Hefner. I can’t find any real information online about the industry there so if any of you have some interesting articles, hook me up. Just for general knowledge lah!

Spontaneity

Yesterday I walked with the living dead. I managed to lay low the whole weekend and come Sunday evening I was chillin on my couch, planning to watch a few hours of TV before going to bed and waking up fresh to face the week. My buddies had been calling me up all day about a party they hooked up in Carita (beach about 2 ½ hours from Jakarta) that night and they were heading up at that time. I had actually planned to go but I was flaking on them. At about 11pm Sunday night we got in the car and drove up to the party. Things just happened that way. Thanks to my cousin Inny.

We got there at about 12.30am and the party had not really kicked off yet. Our mates had the bar set up good. It was a party for the Fez group and they were expecting 150 people. Check out the ice box! I needs me one of those!!! There was ice flowing all the way till morning. And as you can see there was also choke alcohol and pretty purple cups.

There were only about 20 of us there when it kicked off. The rest were e4xpected to come in on busses at about 3 am. So till then we just set up and listened to some music. DJ Cabul brought in the whole fucking set up!!! Mixers, huge ass speakers, and all. They set up in a litle gazebo on the edge of the beach.

We managed to get a little fire blazin. There is nothing like a fire on the beach. The wind was pretty cool and the fire + whiskey were nice and warm. There were rows of tiki torches set up on the beach that added to the atmosphere as well. This time I did not fuck with the fire cause my fingers are still numb from what happened the last time.

Before my good friend left town last week, he left me a little sumtin-suntin to keep sustained with. It came in pretty handy at the party. Thanks bro, and its all gone now.

By the time the crowds arrived we were on a whole new level. I did not realize there would actually be this many people. My cousin and I actuallt spent a few hours tending the bar while they played games and had lucky draws. We were the only 2 customers of Fez invited to join the party so they had a blast preasuring us when drinks were not coming fast enough, or if we ran out of mixers or cups. I was still totally hung up on that fucking ice box! It was awesome!

My friend is also a bad ass bar man. He was flipping the bottle around and this picture came out pretty cool. I took another picture while strolling down the beach. Carita would probably not be the best place for you to take the family for a break of you plan to spend the days chilling on a white sandy beach. Unless if bt whiter you mean covered in Styrofoam. Very sad indeed.

Come morning we all ending up in the ocean. The music kept pumping and we rolled out some sweet reggae tunes to the rising sun. We did not have supplies for Bloody Marries (breakfast of champions) so we settled for tequila shots. It hurt me all of yesterday.

For some reason Inny and I decided to drive back to Jakarta at 7am in a mild attempt to make it to work on time. I hit the city highway at about 8.30am and smack down into horrendous traffic.

I made it into work by about 10.30 and I had one hell of a day yesterday. By 8pm I was in bed and my eyes did not open till 8am this morning. Overall it was an awesome night and I think it was really because we went there with no plans or expectations. It always pays off to be a bit spontaneous every once in a while.

RGV

When most people think of Bollywood, they picture overly dramatized deaths, vivacious colors, and drawn out elaborate dance sequences. And most times they would be right. The main stream Indian market adores such films. They have for decades and they will continue to for a long time to come. Some new and younger talents have started making modern films such as Salaam/Namaste, which I wrote about last week, but they also do stick to similar guidelines, more or less. However there are other directors who work on a totally different level and have managed to create a name and a pretty large fan base for themselves. One such director is Ram Gopal Varma.

At the age of 28 RGV was an owner of a video library in Hydrabad. Since childhood he had always been a film buff and apparently he had quite a knack for narrating stories. He was giving the opportunity off the bat to direct the movie SHIVA by a friend who noticed his talent. With no experience he utilized the talents of the cameramen and music directors working under him to bring his visualizations to life. From 1990 to date he has more than 35 films under his belt. Although he has also worked with some famous stars like Amitabh Bachchan, he is very well reputed for selecting fresh new talents that do not fit the “hero” stereo types and also for producing young talented directors.

RGV’s favorite film subject seems to be the underworld. All his movies that I have seen have been about the mafia and the underbelly of Mumbai politics. He creates original characters that are sometimes rumored to be molded around Indian gangsters or figure heads. The characters in his films are never over the top portrayals, but rather subtle renditions that truly exhibit the actor’s talents. The first film I saw of his was SATYA. It was the first time I had seen an Indian film that showed Mumbai in its truest form. A city, with millions of nameless faces that come and go everyday. The story follows the arrival of Satya to this cosmopolitan, fast paced city. He arrives in Mumbai with absolutely no baggage from his past. Without intention he finds himself a member of a gang, only one of hundreds in the city that carries out hits and robberies on a daily basis. There is little hope and no glory. There are no glitzy shots and we can see the real color of Mumbai. My only thought after watching this film was that it was REAL.

As most of us are, RGV is also obviously fascinated by “Gangsta Flick’s”. In his most recent release, he makes a dedication to Francis Ford Copolla, the director of The Godfather. He acknowledged that SARKAR was deeply influenced by the old classic. I watched the movie last weekend and I feared it would be an exact copy of the original but I was pleasantly surprised. Although the connection is clear, RGV has made the story his own. It was also rumored that the model for the Godfather played by Bachchan was modeled around Bal Thackerey, one of the most powerful men in India today. RGV vigilantly points a finger at the ongoing corruption in India through his tales.

RGV has now set up the Film Factory where his young protégés can churn out original hits one after the other. He still makes his own movies but through this company he is giving a lot of new comers a shot at the top under the umbrella of his name. Such action is always smart and commendable. Another movie I watched last weekend also came out of his camp, it is called D. The story is similar to Satya but this is more about one mans rise to the top. A lot of RGV movies are similar this way but that is the true form of a good gangsta movie. The characters name is Deshu but that is not what the title of the movie stands for. Some people believe it is a reference to one of India’s biggest mob bosses, Dawood Ibrahim. These conspiracy theories do make for fun banter and they hype the films up as well. Whether there is any truth in this, I don’t know.

Another one of the protégés is turning out a film soon called JAMES. This one promises to be the tale of the ‘Urban Samurai’. A classic story of good versus evil, and good wins. The villain’s role is to be played by Zakir Hussain. The only Zakir Hussain I know is a fucking awesome tabla player so if this is him in that role it will be pretty phat. RGV is also planning to release his own rendition of the old Indian classic Sholay. This should be extremely interesting to watch as many of us have grown up watching this movie every Sunday morning. It takes balls to attempt a project like this. I am curious to see what comes out.

In another movie Ab Tak Chhappan, RGV takes a look at the mob from a cop’s point of view. He brings to light a lot of the flaws in the Indian police system and once again portrays an extremely realistic emotional human element. The main character is played by one of my favorite actors, and one of the most talented actors I have ever seen on screen, Nana Patekar. The script of this film is truly awesome and it is Bollywood at its best. Another movie to keep an eye open for is EK (One) which is still in shooting. It is a big budget blockbuster but there is a lot of talk about the controversy it will spark.

Ram Gopal Varma stands out as a unique film director in a market that churns out more movies per annum than any other country in the world. He has truly had a positive effect of Indian cinema and if you do get a chance to watch any of his up coming features you should jump at it. Here in Jakarta they show the latest release Indian films at the MPX cinema in Blok M.

Excerpt from TIME MAGAZINE interview.

TIME: What's the future for Bollywood?
Varma: There's going to be a massive change. A lot of old filmmakers are going to go out of business. Anyone who looks at a film as a formula of one song, two comedy scenes and three action scenes, who doesn't look at the totality of the film, is lost now. Anyone who follows the old prudish traditions, of showing a bush's shaking leaves when they mean people are f---ing behind a tree, is gone. And anyone who doesn't follow the West is gone. For many people in the business, their pride won't let them. But following the West is not surrendering. Following the West, the best of the West, is following originality. Western innovation is superior, and I think we're just beginning to understand that. With my films, I'm targeting the urban multiplexes, the sophisticated media-savvy young crowd. Frankly, I couldn't give a f--- for the villages.

Swingers

My afternoons at work are sometimes pretty slow before things pick up again after 2.30 pm. It is usually around that time that I surf the net reading blog’s and catching up with news and such. I remember first hearing about blog’s in 1998 on the BBC program Click Online. At the time I had no idea what the fuck a blog was. In fact for many years I randomly heard people mention blog’s and I would simply nod and pretend to know what was going on. The first blog I probably started reading religiously was Spanky McWanker. From there I got into many other ones such as Sixth Seal and Kenny Sia, after which I got off my lazy introverted ass and started my own.

Since then I have a whole list of blog’s that I read almost on a daily basis. We all (well most of us) have that free hour or 2 at work where we can doss off on line, queuing up songs to download on Lime Wire, catching up with the news, looking at pictures of yachts you will probably never be able to afford, looking at pictures of babes you will never meet, no doubt the brothers must be surfing porn, and of course checking out other blog’s.

What is it about blog’s that make them so interesting to read? Some focus on humor which is always acceptable and entertaining, only that humor is rated differently by different people. One mans candy can be another’s poison. Also, how long are you gonna be funny before you start posting random internet circulated jokes on your blog. There are many different ones ranging from parenting to home improvement that take various different approaches to blogging. Some people are out to get hits and make some money while other find the action somewhat therapeutic.

I like personal blog’s, with pictures. On some level it is like reading a persons diary; getting a glimpse into another persons life and seeing how they live and learning about what they believe and why. Also when I read my friends blog’s and they read mine it is as though we are regularly in touch. When I write about a party I went to or a movie I watched, I put it down just as I would if I were talking to one of my mates who was reading it. Since I have started blogging I have remained very close to my old friends and I have even managed to make new some very good new friends. I find that we are growing and passing time together.

There are some pretty edgy bloggers out there that are honestly some of the most creative writers I have come across. I don’t know how many of you browse through these erotic blog’s but there are some really good ones! There are quite a few that are authored by escort chicks which throw out some mind boggling stories. You actually get to see things from their point of view. Some dudes just have a good time throwing up porn pictures which is quite boring. But then there are also blog’s authored by swinging couples and hot housewives. Reading these has really opened my mind up to a whole new world. None of the sites I have linked to are perverse or degrading to woman in any way, in my opinion at least. But than again, from what people say, I have very low moral values so trek forth at your own discretion.

From a very young age I heard about swingers. Not a bunch of party guys living in a city and hitting swing clubs, but couples going to parties and getting down with other couples. The whole car keys in a hat thing. I heard stories in the small town I grew up in and in the big city I now live in. Although I know these stories are true, I don’t really KNOW they are true. I have actually had hits on my site with the search words swingers Jakarta. It has got to be out there. I read on some blog’s about actual swing experiences in the US and it kind of made it all real for me. People actually do this. Could people in my own community actually be doing this too? Thoughts like this really weird me out. Especially if I start to wonder if my parents ever did it!!?? Ohhhh!!! Erase that thought. Sorry.

It seems like there are quite a few financially stable and socially established couples that are full on swingers. These people are not weirdo’s or freaks, or even perverts. They have a sexual desire that they are fulfilling consensually. And somehow from what I have read, these marriages seem very successful where each partner is extremely devoted to the other, more so than in many other apparently ‘healthy’ relationships I have seen. I can not figure out where this desire stems from let alone understand it. But maybe that is a good thing, because if I understood it I would probably want to give it a shot.

I am not married nor have I ever been in a very long term relationship so I do not know what it is like to get bored with your partner, sexually or physically that is. To be emotionally and intellectually bored is something else. Is it sexual boredom that compels people to swing? You have the intellectual connection and you love each other, but you just plain tired of eating Aloo Gobi and Chapati every day. A little fillet minion every once in a while can’t hurt you. I can understand that part. I guess.

I don’t really consider myself to be a jealous type but I don’t think I handle another man having sex with my wife or even my girl friend, even if I knew she loved me. It just does not sit well. I have dated some women who were into experimenting but that usually stayed within the two of us and did not involve any third parties. I am just as curious as the next guy to try out a little 3 some action but at what cost? So I guess I can continue to have my questions answered by blog’s and I am very grateful for that. Life is short and I enjoy being exposed to and understanding these “alternate lifestyles” to a certain extent. And for that I am grateful. So fuck all the bastards who want to censor blog’s and to the bloggers; DON’T BE SHY LAH!

Busted Blog's

I read in the local newspaper yesterday that 2 Singaporean bloggers have apparently been arrested because they made racially discriminating comments about Malaysians on their blog and they could actually face up to 3 years in prison. This is a seriously aggravating article. Now as much as I despise racism I still think this the government restricting certain information on blog’s is madness. Malaysia has also followed suit and has the government monitoring their blog’s. Will it be long before Indonesia is on board? I doubt it. We have too many REAL problems to deal with.

As far as I know, I have not crossed any lines and created any tension. I was going to post a picture of this amazing green stash I got this weekend but on second thoughts I better just chill with that plan. Sixth Seal, a Malaysia based blog which I have mentioned before, is loaded with images and trip reports related to various narcotics and pharmaceuticals. Apart from that, PHB (the author) also has some very funny and entertaining product reviews. He is based in Malaysia and is very popular with local and international readers. His website is very informative and I have learned about some new “cocktails” there. If the authorities are monitoring blog’s then there is no way they are not aware of this one. If I was PHB I would be as paranoid as Ray Liotta in the final scenes of GoodFellas. But the man aint no fool and I am sure he is keeping extra careful.

The drug scene over here in Indo has taken a serious hit since the new administration came in. There have been busts at local clubs where the cops barge in and make kids take random pee tests and there are casual check points on the streets at night. It is also mandatory for all clubs to close at 2am!!! Every day in the papers there are stories about Africans and some Europeans being busted around Jakarta while trying to close a heroin deal. Numerous E factories here have been shut down but they are all small time operations with single machines operated by 2 men who are just lap dogs for the big boss. And as we know, the big boss is never gonna fall.

The pirated movie market has also been slapped which is really pissing me off. Am I actually going to have to start paying full price for my DVD’s? A month ago I would go to my regular retailer and she would stack up all the new movies for me that was in crisp copy. There are a lot of shitty copies that are filmed by handy cams in cinema’s but there are also a lot of new releases that are perfect, apart from the usual “This copy is not for viewing” blah blah that comes up on the bottom of the screen every now and then. I can live with that. But recently, nothing new is coming out in good copies. Last week they destroyed some 2 million DVD’s that they seized from various factories. I have over 500 films right now and I fear the good times might be coming to an end. The movie companies are already making shit loads of money, paying actors more money for a single job than most of us would see in our lifetime. Fuck them! We live in the 3rd world damit, leave us the perks.

In the last few months there have also been a couple of high profile cases regarding foreigners being tried for drugs. First there was Schapelle Corby who was busted coming into Bali with quite a bit of weed, and then there was Michelle Leslie. She was busted at a party in Bali with a couple pills of ecstasy. I have linked her name to an article by IndCoup who has written quite a bit about these cases. You can get the low down on his blog. Yesterday he also posted an attention-grabbing write up about a dude who has been locked up in prison for 11 years just for possession of 3.8 grams of hash. Some people deserve it I guess but it breaks my heart when some hippy gets locked in hell for something like this.

Back to the blog’s though. It is fucking ridiculous that the government should be able to regulate what you write on your personal blog. If some one wants to voice any fanatic or racial theology, they should have every right to. Blah blah blah freedom of speech. I have lived in Singapore and personally I just don’t like the place. I do agree that they have some great triumphs. Sometimes I read about some of their achievements that benefit the environment and I hope that other countries would follow suit. The city is also very beautiful to people who like cities. They are trying to set up some sort of perfect society but at what cost? They are killing individualism. I was frustrated as a youth for the few years I spent growing up there and I am frustrated when I read about this kind of stuff now.

The people I know who live in Singapore would not trade it or any place in the world and I understand that. As for me, I would drop it in a heart beat. I want to ‘feel’ where I live and not dwell in a desensitized zone. I don’t want to live in a place where the government is sheltering me from having a true life experience. There is some pleasure in filth (yestz, I am a detty bway), and most of the things the governments are trying to control here, I still enjoy in moderation. How fucking stupid is it that a man can be killed for holding on to a few joints but if he is wealthy enough he can walk into a bar, drink 3 bottles of whiskey, and pay for sex with an underage girl with out any penalty? And this shit does happen in Singapore. Ah well, to each their own.

The Polls

*This entry contains is of a sexual nature. You have been warned.

I don’t know if you recall, but a few months ago my buddy Taurus Bulba and I had a lengthily discussion regarding UB40 and their impact on the world reggae scene, that resulted in a 1000 word article which in turn caused small riots to break out across the country as loyal reggae fans chose sides and defended their point of view. Actually no one really gave a shit and after 4 hours of arguing we even forgot what the hell we were talking about. But none the less, a point was made.

And now once again, my good friend Taurus is taking me to task. He lured me into, what I consider in retrospect to be a totally meaningless argument. As usual, no conclusion could be met so he suggested/instructed me to post the questions on this blog and let “reason” be determined by the few but highly intelligent readers of this log. Rishi and Rohit have been made honorary score keepers. TB has insisted upon this. Their conclusion shall be final. I hope by the end of this week we will be able to put these matters to rest. They have caused enough confusion and turmoil in my life.

The first question is this. Which statement makes more sense if any sense at all?
1. “The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom.”
2. “The road of stupidity leads to the palace of excess.”

Shortly after debating the above 2 quotations, our conversation took a slightly awkward twist. This question should really only be answered by the women but if any of the gents have 2 cents to put in about, the stage is yours. You see this is slightly sensitive topic. First off, I realize that everyone has their own taste and to each their own, but we are just looking for a general consensus. So don’t be shy and give us some honest feedback.

You see all dicks are different. In fact I would go as far as to say that no two dicks are identical. Every penis is unique in its own way and can distinctively satisfy a woman (or man) sexually. You got long dicks, short dicks, skinny dicks, fat dicks, etc… Is one really better than the other? That is something I could never realistically answer and neither could TB (or many of the other guys I know). We all know that it’s not just about size. You gotta be able to use it too. None the less we spent an hour arguing about what women prefer. We concluded that in order to describe or identify the ideal penis, these three factors would be the most essential to consider.

Some penises could be compared to the long bean. Most men think its all about size. Well you have the longest pecker on the block but it aint gonna be no good if you aint got girth. Yes, GIRTH. That would be a larger circumference.

Our friend the cucumber displays ideal girth, for general standards. It has a smooth and straight shaft, although it is not as long as the long bean, I assume its form would be far more satisfying. But it is straight.

The elusive curved penis. It is rumored that woman do enjoy a slight curve as it can hit the right, spot. With a fair amount of length and girth, could the curved dick be more satisfying than a 12” cucumber dick? Then why are dildo’s all straight and not with a curve? Is there an ideal penis out there or is it all about the man attached? Don’t leave me hanging, with these questions that is.
